OUR CHURCH HAS BEEN GROWING.

AND WE'RE NOT DONE YET.

IT'S TIME TO BUILD.

OUR CHURCH HAS BEEN GROWING.

AND WE'RE NOT DONE YET

IT'S TIME TO BUILD.

In recent years, we have seen God move in powerful ways within our church family. With every new face, every new story, and every life changed, our hearts have been filled with gratitude. Yet, this growth has also revealed the limits of our space.

We’ve added as many chairs as possible, encouraged members to park farther away, and worked to create room wherever we could. But Sunday mornings have become crowded - parking lots full, seats scarce, and a foyer so busy that real connection can feel impossible. At times, we’ve even found ourselves hesitating to invite others, not because we lack the desire, but because we lack the space.

PREVIEW THE NEW BUILDING

OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $500,000

There are two ways you can get involved.

We are inviting everyone connected with our church to prayerfully seek how God may be calling them to support this vision. For some, that may mean faithfully praying for the project. For others, it may mean offering time as a volunteer. For many, it may also mean giving generously to fund the project.

We’ve created a four-week prayer journal that will guide you day by day in seeking God’s direction and making room for Him to move. We encourage you to walk through it with us, expecting God to lead us as we move forward. You can pick up a copy of the prayer journal from church or click the link below to view the prayer journal online.
We are beginning a three-year giving campaign with a goal of raising $500,000. We are determined to complete the project without burdening future generations with significant debt. This will definitely be challenging but we trust that God is leading us and that he will provide. Prayerfully consider making a three-year commitment to support the project by giving weekly, monthly, or annual.

A STORY OF GOD'S PROVISION

Family Life Church was born out of a revival meeting in the early 1970’s. This led to the founding of the church, then known as Full Gospel Community Church, and the construction of a building. In the 1980's, there were two major additions to the building, resulting in it’s current size. In 2014, the name was officially changed to Family Life Church as a reflection of the church’s desire to better connect with the community. The church continued to grow and in 2024, a second Sunday morning service was added to accommodate the increase in attendance.

We believe that God has placed Family Life Church in the town of Warsaw for a specific purpose: Love God, Love People, Love Warsaw. This is more than just a catchy phrase; it is the heartbeat of God for the people of our church to love the people in our town. Every believer has a role to play in fulfilling that purpose. This includes using our time and our abilities to serve others, as well as the faithful giving of our finances.

The core values of our church have always been Worship, Outreach, Fellowship, Revival, and Discipleship. We want our church to be a place where people feel comfortable enough to come and challenged enough to grow. An important part of our vision is to have a church building with enough room for a large Sunday morning service where we can welcome people, worship together, share the gospel, and serve the community.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Vision Questions

Why is this building project important?
God is growing our church family and we want to make room for the people He’s bringing. The expanded spaces will give us more room to welcome guests, disciple believers, and host events that impact Warsaw and beyond. We also believe that this building will be a place for our children and grandchildren to encounter Jesus and grow in faith for generations to come.
Why is having one Sunday morning service important?
Meeting together weekly as one church family strengthens community, builds unity, and allows us to experience God’s presence together. It will also decrease the workload on ministry volunteers, which makes the church more sustainable.
How does this project align with our church mission?
This expansion is about creating space for people to know Jesus, grow in faith, and reach our community. It’s not just a building, it’s a tool for the mission. We envision the building being used for more than just our Sunday morning service, but also for small groups, worship, trainings, gatherings, and even community events that bless our town.
What role does prayer play in our building project?
Prayer is at the center of this journey. We believe this building project was God's idea and we are committed to seeking his guidance, provision, and blessing every step of the way.
How can families involve their kids in this project?
We encourage families to pray, talk, and even give together. This is a chance to show the next generation what it looks like to build God’s house.
How can I stay updated about the project?
We plan to regularly share updates about the building project on Sunday morning services. We will also update this webpage with news, photos, and important milestones.

Building Questions

How much will the sanctuary seating capacity be increased?
The new sanctuary will significantly increase seating, allowing us to worship together in one service and welcome more guests. Depending on the configuration of the chairs, we will be able to fit as many as 450 seats.
How will the foyer will be updated?
The current fellowship will be renovated into a new foyer, which will be larger and brighter, with more room to welcome people.
Will the restrooms be updated?
The restrooms are being expanded and updated to better serve our growing congregation and guests. The current restrooms will be sectioned off with a new hallway. An additional restroom will be added to the new foyer.
How will the parking lot be expanded?
The parking lot will be extended into the field behind the building, adding approximately 85 additional parking spots. There will also be a covered drop-off entrance, allowing easier access for families, guests, and those with mobility needs.
Will the kitchen be updated?
There will be no kitchen included in the building expansion, however there is a possibility of adding a kitchen in a future project.
Will the building accessibility be improved?
Parking, seating, and restrooms will all be designed with a priority on improved accessibility for everyone. There will be a lift included in the addition for those with mobility issues that need to access the downstairs.
How will the sound and media be updated?
Upgraded technology in the sanctuary will create a better in-person worship experience, as well as an improved live stream for those joining online.

Project Questions

When will construction begin and how long will it take?
We plan to break ground in spring of 2026 and expect the project will take about one year. Updates will be shared regularly as we move forward.
Will Sunday morning services continue during construction?
Worship and ministry will continue every Sunday, though some entrances, seating, or parking may need to shift temporarily.
When will the new sanctuary and parking lot be ready?
Our goal is to open the new sanctuary and expanded parking by 2027. We’ll keep the church updated each step of the way.
Where will large meetings be held without a fellowship hall?
We’ll creatively use our sanctuary and classrooms, and adjust as needed for larger gatherings. Ministry will continue without interruption.
Will the project affect our kids or youth minstry?
Kids Life and youth ministries will continue each week. Spaces may shift, but our next-gen ministries remain a top priority.
Will there be ways to help other than giving?
Prayer is an important part of the process. We can also use volunteers to help with fundraising, hospitality, and moving-in support. Contact Ben Schultz at flcwarsaw@gmail.com for more information about these opportunities.

Financial Questions

Will the church take on debt for this project?
Our goal is to raise as much as possible, but financing is available if needed. Any borrowing will be done wisely and prayerfully.
How will donations be used?
100% of donations given to “Let’s Make Room” will go directly toward building and project costs.
What if the project costs exceed the budget?
The church leaders will monitor the project costs and will prayerfully evaluate adjustments to the project budget, and increase fundraising or financing if needed.
What happens if we raise more money than needed for the project?
Any funds above the project budget would be used to pay off any building debt, maintain the new facility, or further strengthen the ministry of the church.
Can I designate my giving to a particular part of the project?
All gifts go into the building fund, but you’re welcome to share what area you feel most passionate about.
