Family Life Church was born out of a revival meeting in the early 70’s. This lead to the founding of the church, then known as Full Gospel Community Church, and the construction of a building. In the 80's, there were two major additions to the building, resulting in it’s current size. In 2014, the name was officially changed to Family Life Church as a reflection of the church’s desire to better connect with the community. The church continued to grow and in 2024, a second Sunday morning service was added to accommodate the increase in attendance. 

The building addition project includes several different aspects. The sanctuary would be expanded by 3,300 square feet, increasing the seating capacity from 240 to 440. The sound and media equipment would be upgraded to fit the larger sanctuary. The parking lot would be expanded by 27,000 square feet, adding an additional 85 parking spots. The existing fellowship hall would be renovated into a larger foyer space, with a drive-up entrance, additional bathrooms, and a secondary entrance into the sanctuary. There would also be a kitchenette and a handicap accessible lift installed.
